Payments

Personal/business checks are accepted as well as MasterCard, VISA, Discover, and American Express. However, we do not accept credit cards for orders outside the US and Canada. If you are ordering from another country all orders over $100.00 will require a bank wire transfer for which there is a $30.00 fee. Please e-mail Kingsley North at sales@kingsleynorth.com for details.

Kingsley North is not responsible for international trade fees including but not limited to: Duty, Tax, Conversion, Brokerage, and Disbursement. No contracts regarding trade fees expressed or implied shall be honored. The customer assumes all responsibility for these extra international trade fees. We will not declare a customs value less than the actual value of the package(s).

 

Virtual Gift Cards
Virtual Gift Cards (VGC) cannot be redeemed for cash, transferred for value, or resold. We are not responsible if VGCs are lost, stolen, destroyed, or used without your permission. Kingsley North reserves the right to close accounts and request for alternative payment methods if a VGC has been fraudulently obtained. Virtual Gift Cards do not expire and have no fee. VGCs can be used with any combination of other payment methods. Merchandise purchased with a gift card can be returned (subject to our return policy) a refund for the exact amount of the purchase/returned amount will be issued back onto the same VGC. Partial refunds to the original purchaser of the virtual gift cards are not allowed.
 
 
Shipping Methods

Express orders received afternoon and before 2:30 pm must be phoned in for same-day service. We ship via UPS and FedEx for Home Delivery (Standard Ground Service), Next Day, Second Day or Three Day, Commercial, and USPS Priority Mail. Ask for additional shipping methods. To prevent fraud, we will review all orders and require a signature for shipments at our discretion. Liquid or Hazardous contents: We will change shipping methods at our discretion if the content(s) contain hazardous materials or liquids. Certain shipping methods are sensitive to hazardous and liquid contents. By changing shipping methods we are saving you time (significant delays can occur if we don't change shipping methods).(We prioritize express shipments in our order queue).

FedEx Shipping Regulations
  • We must have your street address. They cannot deliver to a Post Office Box.
  • 50 lbs. weight limit on Home Delivery. 150 lbs. weight limit on Commercial Delivery.
  • Maximum size per package - New 130 inches in combined length and girth. (Length not to exceed 108 inches).
  • C.O.D. The fee is $10.00
  • Insurance: Free on orders under $100.00 and $.75 for each $100.00 more thereafter, with a $2.25 maximum.
  • Shipments valued at $ 500.00 or more will require a signature.
  • Orders that are eligible for free shipping exclude Alaska and Hawaii and other countries throughout the world. Only the Continental 48 states are eligible.
Minimum Orders

We have a $20.00 minimum order (not including shipping and handling charges). Orders less than $20.00 are charged a $2.00 Small Order Fee.

Back Orders

At times an item may be out of stock and have to be back-ordered for you, any items back-ordered are not charged until the time of shipment. All back-ordered items will be indicated on your order, items under $5.00 will not be back-ordered. Shipping costs will be added to all backorders.

Damaged Shipment

If you receive an order that is damaged in transit please refuse it if you are there when it arrives. If you are not there when it's delivered, please notify us immediately so we can file a claim. Please save all merchandise, cartons, and packaging material until the claim is resolved. Occasionally we need to send pictures or the carrier will come to evaluate the package.

Returns

All items on this order should be free of defects in material and workmanship. If upon examination, the product is found to be defective, it should be returned with a brief explanation of the defect, and it will be replaced or credited. If you receive the item and you either changed your mind or it is not what you had expected, the item can be returned if it is unused. Before returning please call and inform us of the return. Merchandise cannot be returned for credit unless it is plainly defective obviously not as ordered, or unused. When returning, enclose the invoice and reason for return. A 10% restocking charge will apply on merchandise returned after 30 days from the date of invoice. No returns on Videos or Books. NO RETURNS AFTER 90 DAYS.

Original and return shipping is not refundable.

Stock availability

The stock availability located at the top of product pages is kept as current as possible. However, we may have stock-keeping errors that result in an item saying "In stock" when it should say "Out of Stock".

The following are stock availabilities and their meanings:

  • In Stock: We physically have the item in our inventory and it is ready to ship from our warehouse.
  • Drop Ship: We ship the inventory item from our vendor's inventory. Most of the time it can be shipped quickly. Generally, the lead time is 1-2 weeks  6-8 weeks due to the pandemic*. Example: Covington Engineering, Ameritool, and Diamond Pacific (machinery), Diamond Pacific lead time is generally 2-4 weeks 6-8 weeks*.**Call or email for current lead time on Drop Shipments**
  • Special Order: Items not generally in our vendor's inventory. Made-to-order items like special diamond discs, faceting machines, or slab saws. These items can have lead times from 3-4 weeks to 2-3 months. Example: Crystalite (some diamond discs, 3-4 weeks), Jersey instruments (2-3 months), Barranca diamond (slab saws 4-6 weeks). Special Order Items cannot be canceled.
  • Used: This type of item is in stock and has been used. Unless otherwise noted in the item description, there is only one available.
  • Downloadable Product: This is a product that is downloadable once purchased. It may not be shared or distributed freely. Only registered customers can purchase. No actual hard copy will be shipped.

Rough Rock - Unit of Measures
The rough rock we carry for tumbling, cabbing, slabbing, and faceting is not sold by the piece or individual stone. The rough rock is sold by units of measure that may include, but are not limited to; Pound (lb), Gram (g), Ounce (oz), and Carat (ct). This means if a quantity of 1 is ordered, 1 unit of measure will be provided. For instance, a quantity of 1 for tumbling rough will be 1 pound (lb). Another example is faceting rough sold by carat weight, since this is a small unit of measure we may have a minimum order quantity enabled. If a quantity of 10 is enabled as a minimum you will receive 10 units of measure (like an individual 10-carat weight of stone), 10 individual stones will not be sent.

Rough Rock - Color & Size
Attention
: Please note that due to the natural variations of rough rock, the size and color of your order may vary. If you have a specific size or color preference, kindly leave a note at checkout (e.g., "looking for blue & brown and one piece"). Without a note, we will select the best fit for your order. Rough rock may be cut to achieve the most accurate weight.

Prices
All prices are as current as possible, however, all prices are subject to change without notice. If a substantial price increase occurs, we will notify you before shipment. You may also request quotations before shipment by sending a list of items you wish to order. Kingsley North, Inc. is not responsible for typographical errors or omissions. Kingsley North, inc. reserves the right to cancel any order that contains a pricing error(s).

Office hours are 8:30 am to 5:00pm (Central Standard Time) Monday through Friday. We are closed on Saturday and Sunday. We are closed on most National Holidays. If you plan to be in our area stop by, you are welcome to browse in our display room. We are always happy to meet our customers.
