Cyrstalite Crystal Pads & Polypads
These pads are engineered to eliminate orange peel and undercutting.
The Pre-Polish Crystalpads are used with diamond compound 1200 or coarser.
The Final Crystalpad is excellent for the final polish, using 3,000, 8,000, 14,000 & 50,000 mesh diamond compound. It has the necessary drag to flow finish a gemstone.
The Polypad is a leather-like urethane fiber pad used for conventional polishing powders, including Linde A, Tin Oxide, and Cerium Oxide. This soft pad is an excellent choice for opal. Use a liquid extender to spread compound, do not use water. |

Poly-Tex Lapcraft Polishing Pads
Made for smoothing, polishing and designed to take a charge using diamond compound or conventional polishing powders (i.e. Tin & Cerium Oxides, etc.). Dura-Tex recommended for use with coarser diamond up to 1,800 mesh. Poly-Tex a pad for the final polish is recommended for diamond 3,000 and finer. |

Sponge Pads
A 1/8in. Thick sponge disc pressure sensitive adhesive backing. These are used under the diamond smoothing discs, silicon carbide sanding discs etc. The cushion helps remove flat spots from cabochons. |

Canvas and Leather Pads
Inexpensive polishing pads with a foam rubber backing so that they will conform to the shape of your stone. All have rigid plastic back plate with a 1/4in. 20 thread bolt that will fit Diamond Pacific, Lortone, Contempo, Raytech and other machines designed for such attachments. The canvas pads come either treated with a special resin for use with diamond compound, or untreated for use with other polishing compounds. The leather pads come either smooth or rough side up. |
